MECHANISMS OF OVERCOMING THE ECONOMIC VULNERABILITY OF RURAL HOUSEHOLD WITH CHILDREN
Abstract
The article presents the results of the analysis of factors of the economic vulnerability of rural households with children. Special attention is paid to the justification of mechanisms to overcome economic vulnerability. The influence of socio-demographic characteristics of families (the composition and structure of the family, the composition of income sources, dependent load) and the socio-economic characteristics of parents (level of education and employment status of the head of the family) are shown. The materials of a sample observation of household income and participation in social programs (Rosstat, 2017) show the differentiation of average per capita disposable resources in different types of families with children. Particular attention is paid to the peculiarities of the socio-economic situation of low-income families with children. It is concluded that the existing tools of social support for families with children do not fully take into account the needs and interests of recipients. Possible directions for improving the mechanisms of social assistance to vulnerable families are proposed.
