ASSESSMENT OF STRUCTURAL DYNAMICS OF FOOD CHAINS IN RUSSIA BASED ON BALANCES OF FOOD RESOURCES
Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of long-term trends in the modernization of food chains of the agri-food complex. In the context of the growth of uncertainty factors in the country and the world economy, the strengthening of the influence of structural modernization on the development of the agri-food complex of Russia has been proven. The methodology for assessing structural changes in the food chains of the agri-food complex based on the balance of food resources is substantiated. On the example of food chains of grain and oilseeds, the main trends and features of their formation are revealed. The conclusion is made about the need to strengthen state support for the agri-food complex, aimed at the formation of full-fledged national product chains to ensure the country's food security.
