TYPOLOGY OF RUSSIAN REGIONS BY THE LEVEL OF RURAL UNEMPLOYMENT
Abstract
The purpose of the article is to develop a typology of Russian regions by the level of rural unemployment and to assess the impact of agricultural production rates on the level and dynamics of unemployment in regions of different types. The cluster analysis is carried out, the typology of regions is developed; the characteristics of the selected typological groups are given. A regression analysis was carried out, which made it possible to assess the impact of agricultural production rates on rural unemployment in three regional clusters. The features of the behavioral reactions of regional segments of the agrarian labor market to economic changes are revealed. The sample includes 78 regions of Russia. The study was carried out using panel data for 2010-2019.
