Abstract

The article considers the dependence of the prospects for the development of rural areas on the state and dynamics of sociostructural processes. It is substantiated that the formation of new socio-professional groups is hampered by the insufficient diversity of labor places, which accelerates the rate of reduction in the number of village residents. It is shown that the society of the modern village still retains the potential for constructive activity to overcome current global challenges.
