Abstract

The article presents an overview of the reports of the participants of the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists "Patterns of Development of Regional Agri-Food Systems", organized by the Institute of Agrarian - Subdivision of the Federal State Budgetary Research Institution Saratov Federal Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The reports of the conference participants confirm the interest of young researchers in the problem of ensuring food security in Russia in the face of new global challenges. Young scientists have identified the priorities of investment policy in the agricultural sector, revealed the most effective measures of state support for agricultural producers, substantiated the systems of long-term and short-term priorities that ensure the sustainability of the development of the agri-food complex of the Russian Federation, and also outlined the prospects for the development of the Russian rural areas in the face of increased sanctions pressure.
