FOOD SECURITY IN COUNTRIES OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF INDEPENDENT STATES: POTENTIAL AND CHALLENGES
Abstract
In recent years, the problem of ensuring food security of the member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States using internal resources has become particularly urgent due to rising world food prices and sanctions restrictions on food markets. The article reveals the importance of ensuring food security as an element of national security, and emphasizes the need to adapt agriculture to the changing conditions of the functioning of domestic and foreign markets to ensure the stability of the development of the food sector.
