CHALLENGES AND LIMITATIONS OF COMPETITIVENESS PROMOTION OF THE HEALTH SYSTEM IN THE SOCIAL SPACE OF COUNTRYSIDE AND RURAL REGION OF RUSSIA
Abstract
The article is devoted to the development of the main provisions of the concept of development of rural healthcare as a priority resource for promotion of competitiveness and safety of the social space of countryside and rural areas of Russia. New social challenges to the system of rural health protection are revealed. The characteristic of the basic directions of competitiveness promotion of rural health care is given. The role of strategic management in enhancing the competitiveness of the rural health care system is scientifically substantiated. Quantitative threshold indicators for assessing the competitiveness of the rural health care system as a priority resource for ensuring the safety of the social space of the village are developed. The scientific novelty of the study consists in applying a theoretical approach that allows analyzing the functioning of rural health care in the social space of a modern village as a response to the new socio-economic challenges of rural development in Russia. Elements of novelty are contained in the methodological and practical aspects of developing the author's system of competitiveness threshold indicators of rural health care. Its application will make it possible to clarify the directions of state and regional policy in the field of rural health management.
