Abstract

The article presents the results of the discussion at the meeting of the Section of Economics of the Division of Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences on June 6, 2018, in connection with the discussion of the report “On the Perspectives of the Economic Development of the Country for the Implementation of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin of May 7, 2018”, presented by the academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, A.G. Aganbegyan. Critical estimation of indicators of social and economic development of Russia during the period of stagnation and recession of 2013-2017 is given. New conditions for the social and economic development of the world economy after the global crisis of 2007-2009 are substantiated. The main conditions and factors ensuring the achievement of national goals and strategic objectives, set by the President of the Russian Federation are formulated.
