CROP PRODUCTION IN A MULTI-APPLICANT AGRARIAN SECTOR IN REGIONS RELATING TO TERRITORIES UNFAVORABLE FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION

Abstract

The article analyzes the indicators of the development of agriculture in the regions, that are related by the resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation to unfavorable for agricultural production areas. It is concluded that the level of the values of the agricultural development indicators of the regions from this list is comparable with the level of all other regions of the country, and therefore they can not be differentiated in analyzing and forecasting the development of Russia's agriculture. This conclusion served as the basis for the analysis of the situation in the crop industry, and its impact on the diversity of the agrarian sector of the regions contained in the list of unfavorable territories. The obtained results showed that the specialization and production volumes in the field of plant growing of regions from the list depend mainly on location in different geographical and agro-climatic zones, rather than on general indicators of agricultural development, as in other regions not included in the list of unfavorable for agricultural production areas. The consequence is that the proportions of the multistructural nature of the agrarian complex depend more on the specialization on specific types of products, when the economy of one category absorbs farms of other categories. This process is the same in all Russian regions, regardless of whether they enter the list of unfavorable for agricultural production areas, or not.
