PROBLEMS OF USE OF ELECTRONIC SERVICES BY THE RUSSIAN RURAL POPULATION IN THE CONDITIONS OF REGIONAL DIFFERENTIATION

Abstract

The results of the analysis of the rural population's use of Internet facilities are presented, including those for obtaining state and municipal services by regions of the Russian Federation. A classification of regions by the level of rural population's use of the Internet is constructed. Four classification groups of regions with similar type-forming characteristics were identified, which were used as the shares of the rural population who used the Internet and received state and municipal services in electronic form. The obtained groups of regions are analyzed in a system of indicators characterizing the level of social, economic, demographic and information development of the regions. Based on the analysis, regression models are constructed. They determine the influence of these factors on the typological attributes being studied both for the Russian Federation as a whole and for obtained typological groups of regions. The methods of hierarchical cluster analysis and regression modeling in the STATISTICA 10 system are used.
