Abstract

A factor analysis of labor productivity in agriculture of the regions of the Russian Federation using the production function of Cobb-Douglas is carried out. Three groups of regions with sown areas of less than 1 million hectares, from 1 to 2 million and over 2 million hectares are considered. Capital-labor ratio of agricultural production in the region and the average monthly accrued wages per one employed in agriculture are considered as factors. Calculations were carried out on the basis of Rosstat materials based on averaged data for 2017-2018. Using mathematical models and properties of the Cobb-Douglas functions, dependencies were constructed connecting the relative increments of the factors under consideration and labor productivity, on the basis of which the forecast calculations were based.
