JUSTIFICATION OF PROMISING DIRECTIONS FOR THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ALGORITHMS AT ENTERPRISES OF THE RUSSIAN AGRICULTURAL FOOD COMPLEX

Abstract

The work presents an analysis of the global artificial intelligence (AI) market by industry sector. The dynamics of changes in the market volumes of “smart” agriculture and precision agriculture was compared. It is shown that the introduction of AI technologies in agricultural production is a stable international trend, confirming the desire of the world food system for maximum automation of agricultural processes to increase the efficient use of land and water resources, improve the quality of products and reduce food waste. Factors that hinder the implementation of algorithms and computational models of artificial intelligence at enterprises of the Russian agricultural food complex are identified. It is concluded that in order to achieve technological leadership in the field of agriculture, the formation of a flexible legal regime is required that ensures a balance between support for the AI ndustry and restrictive  measures that prevent risks from the use of new technology.
