REVIEW OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS «PATTERNS OF DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL AGRO-FOOD SYSTEMS»

Abstract

This article provides a brief overview of the presentations from the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists «Patterns of Development of Regional Agro-Food Systems», organized by the Institute of Agrarian Problems - Subdivision of the Federal State Budgetary Research Institution Saratov Federal Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. During the conference, young scientists identified global trends and national specifics in the development of agro-food systems under tightening sanctions. The presentations substantiated priorities for state support of agricultural producers and emphasized the importance of addressing technological import substitution in agribusiness. Environmental issues, land use efficiency, and support for startup projects formed a distinct thematic cluster. It is important to note that, alongside theoretical research, the conference featured a significant practice-oriented segment dedicated to the implementation of R&D results into agricultural production.
