The Role of Human Capital in the Sustainable Economic Development of Agricultural Enterprises in Russia under Digitalization Conditions
Abstract
The article substantiates the key role of human capital in ensuring sustainable economic development of agricultural enterprises in the context of digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex. The paper examines theoretical aspects and identifies the channels through which human capital influences the economic sustainability of agricultural enterprises under digitalization. It is established that active investment in digital retraining of personnel ensures an increase in the value added of human capital and return on investment in personnel, whereas purchasing technology without staffing support leads to stagnation of efficiency.
