THE METHOD OF ESTIMATION OF THE REGULARITY OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS CONSUMPTION IN TERMS OF REDUCING MONETARY INCOME OF THE POPULATION ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE ROSTOV REGION
Abstract
Knowledge of the situation and potential of a particular market is necessary for forecasting the relevant transformations in the industry. Consumption of food products largely depends on the income of the population and prices. Under otherwise equal conditions, the higher the incomes, the greater the consumer spending on protein and more expensive products. Results of the correlation-regression analysis, conducted in 2008-2017 shows that in the Rostov region, the average per capita consumption of food products is more influenced by the real incomes of the population, less - by the prices for food products, as well as the ratio of income to prices.
