PROJECT TO INCREASE THE EFFICIENCY OF QUAIL FARMING
Abstract
The article emphasizes the importance of the development of the Russian poultry industry for the country's economy. Based on official statistics, it is shown that the poultry industry in the country is developing quite successfully and steadily, and its stable growth is explained by significant government support. One of the high-margin areas of development of the poultry industry is quail farming, however, at present, the share of products grown on an industrial basis in our country is extremely low. To increase the efficiency of the development of quail farming, the authors developed the project "Modernization of a quail farm based on the use of digital technologies." The model for the project was the Educational Research and Production Association "Mummovskoye", located in the Atkarsk district of the Saratov region. The modernization of the quail farm is aimed at full automation and digitalization of the farm, improving the conditions for keeping poultry and increasing its productivity. The use of the calculation-constructive method allowed the authors to conclude that the project was highly cost-effective.
