RISKS OF MATERIAL, TECHNICAL AND RESOURCE SUPPORT OF THE AGRO-FOOD COMPLEX OF RUSSIA
Abstract
Sanctions and counter-sanctions restrictions between Russia and a number of Western countries have exacerbated systemic problems in the development of the country's agro-food complex and formed new risks. The article analyzes the current state of the production and technical base and resource support of the main branches of the complex. The risks of further development of the agro-food complex, which can have a significant impact on the food security of Russia, are substantiated. As a result of the study, chronic underfunding of the sectors of the agro-food complex in terms of the share of investments, high import dependence on intermediate consumption, and a weak material and technical base were revealed. The priority directions of modernization of the technical and resource support of the agro-food complex of Russia are proposed.
